“$1,000,000 in the bank isn't the fantasy. The fantasy is the lifestyle of complete freedom it supposedly allows.” -Timothy Ferriss
Turning around a struggling small business with an owner working overtime to an absentee run business is very challenging and for many it is impossible. Struggling businesses are known to hold the owner hostage and work them to exhaustion.
I have been to many restaurants were the owners themselves are working in the back. It is more difficult in some industries like the food industry but it is still very possible to have basic operations set on auto-pilot. To master this skill is very difficult and a lot times it will take many years to accomplish. The collaboration of the right CEO with the right people is essential to creating a more efficient process.

“As all entrepreneurs know, you live and die by your ability to prioritize. You must focus on the most important, mission-critical tasks each day and night, and then share, delegate, delay or skip the rest. -Richard Branson, CEO and founder of Virgin Group
It is always important to focus and never stop finding ways you can free your hands and your mind for the creative tasks to which you are best suited for.
" Delegate and let go”
A friend of my mine that is a CEO of a successful Tech company taught me years ago to always focus on the important tasks that only I can do. Everything else that does not require my specific expertise should be delegated. These are usually small tasks that take up a lot of time.
Focus should always be on being productive not just “busy”
